How You Can Help

    Schools, Colleges and Universities
schools

Schools, colleges and universities are ideally places to have lots of fun and come up with fantastic ways to raise money.

The great thing about fundraising is you can choose how you want to take part. It could be as sensible or as silly as you can safely arrange.  It can also be done as a whole school or college, as whole classes or groups, or perhaps as a challenge as an individual.

We have lots of ideas for different activities you may want to take part in, click here for some fundraising ideas.   Of course you do not have to choose one of these, how about coming up with something completely new?

If you need help coming up with ideas or the materials to publicise your event or activity, please contact us and we will do our best to provide some assistance.

We are also happy to come and talk to secondary schools, colleges and universities about the work of the hospice, what the money we raise is used for, and how this makes a real difference to the lives of the patients and families we care for.

If you would like someone to arrange to come and talk, either to the whole or groups of students, please contact us to arrange a suitable date.

Most importantly, if you do choose to fundraise for us, please let us and everyone else know. We can help see whether the local media may be able to cover your story – this benefits both your school, college or university and the hospice by helping to raise profile.
