Specialist palliative care physiotherapists provide advice and treatment to patients in the in-patient unit, the day care centre and in the community.

They work to rehabilitate patients within the limits of their illness, focusing on mobility, pain relief, reduction of anxiety and management of other symptoms.

Patients are assessed and supported to help them adapt to the progression of their illness, providing equipment where possible to help patients remain mobile and comfortable.
